Each suite feels more like a mini-apartment than a hotel room, with separate living areas and kitchenettes that actually work (I mean, you could legitimately cook a proper meal if you wanted to). The location puts you right in the heart of Rotterdam‘s maritime quarter, walking distance from the Erasmus Bridge and those iconic cube houses – though honestly, just wandering around the Kop van Zuid area where it sits is pretty fascinating on its own.

The staff here knows their stuff without being stuffy about it, and they seem genuinely proud of the building’s history. During my stay, the front desk manager casually mentioned which rooms had the best harbor views (ask for anything facing south if you can), and she was absolutely right – watching the ships come and go while having morning coffee was unexpectedly mesmerizing. The neighborhood can get a bit quiet in the evenings since it’s more business district than nightlife hub, but that’s actually perfect if you want to decompress after exploring the city all day.

Look, Rotterdam isn’t Amsterdam – it’s grittier, more modern, less tourist-trappy – and Suitehotel Pincoffs captures that spirit perfectly. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere with real character rather than just another cookie-cutter hotel room.   Beautifully restored historic building packed with original features. Friendly and helpful staff team. Bar is a fabulous place lto enjoy a wide selection of drinks.

  Great location in an historic building. Fabulous welcome from owners. All staff very welcoming and friendly. Owner Milo and his wife are so passionate about the hotel and the city they live in, giving tips and recommendations on places to visit throughout our stay. Their enthusiasm is infectious and shows in all of the staff. Facilities were fabulous as was breakfast.
  It was like staying with friends!!!! Thank you Milo for the harbour tour on your boat too – a highlight of our holiday!!

  Everything was absolutely gorgeous and I felt pampered as if I had landed in another, posh, era. I got an upgrade and my room was insanely luxurious and with a smashing view of the Maas. There was even a sound system to top it all up. It was a pity to have to leave the room to go out, or the fantastic bathroom with the massage function in it. I’d say the best stay I’ve ever had.

  The location was fabulous. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. I liked I had complementary Nespresso coffee machine and capsules every morning. The bed was comfortable. The views over the skyline were fantastic.
