You know what's great about staying on Leuvehaven? You're literally steps from the Oude Haven, which means you can grab morning coffee overlooking the historic harbor before the tourist crowds arrive. The Markthal is maybe a seven-minute walk, and I mean, where else can you get fresh stroopwafels and browse local vendors under that incredible ceiling? Couples seem to really love this spot — I can see why, since you can easily walk to dinner along the waterfront or catch a water taxi for a different perspective of the city's skyline.

The Room Experience

My room had those floor-to-ceiling windows that Rotterdam hotels do so well, giving you proper views of either the harbor or the city center depending on which side you're on.
