• Decent place to stay in Rotterdam – Melanie from United States – August 26, 2025 (8/10)

  Location is nice being near Markthal, the cube houses, and Rotterdam Blaak station which is served by trains, metro, and trams. Apartment was spacious and comfortable enough. Soft bed, washing machine, drying rack. All very convenient to have. A/C worked well. Hot water on demand was nice. The host was also quick to respond when I sent any messages.
  
  What could be improved: The downside of the location is that there are multiple bars just below the apartment that are very loud until 1-2am on Friday and Saturday nights so this was a bit annoying for us, but if you stay during the week it should not be an issue. It was not a problem for us but there is no elevator and the apartment is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor for Americans) so if you have any problem with stairs, don't stay here. The apartment also needs a deep cleaning, as there was a fair amount of dust on the floors and on the clothes hangers etc. More towels would have been nice.

  Location is good in the center Rotterdam.
  Although at night bit noisy because of restaurants right below.
  Air-conditioning bedroom was welcome in the heat!
  For the rest everything you need in the kitchen,well equipped
  soap, toilet paper en other things available so did not have to go shopping for them
  
  What could be improved: Stairs, so not for somebody with knee problems or elderly/pregnant persons.
  advice: provide extra set of sheets especially for a longer stay.
  Could not find bath towels, hand towels enough.
