PREMIER SUITES Rotterdam
About
First Impressions
Walking into PREMIER SUITES Rotterdam, you immediately get that "this is exactly where I want to be" feeling. The four-star property sits right on Weena — honestly, you can't get more central than this in Rotterdam. I mean, you're literally steps away from Central Station, which makes everything so much easier whether you're arriving by train or need to catch a tram somewhere. The lobby has this modern, clean aesthetic that feels sophisticated without being intimidating, and the staff actually seem genuinely happy to see you.
Location That Actually Matters
Here's the thing about Rotterdam — it's not like Amsterdam where everything tourist-worthy is crammed into one small area. This city spreads out, so location really matters, and PREMIER SUITES nailed it. You're walking distance to the Markthal (that incredible indoor market with the crazy ceiling art), the cube houses, and the waterfront. What I really appreciated was being able to explore the city center on foot — couples especially seem to love this aspect, which makes total sense. The neighborhood has that perfect mix of business district energy during the day and more relaxed evening vibes.
The Suites Experience
The rooms here are actually suites, which you notice immediately when you walk in. There's proper separation between the sleeping area and living space, plus a kitchenette that's genuinely useful — not just a mini-fridge and coffee maker situation. The beds deserve a special mention because, well, they're ridiculously comfortable. I'm usually pretty picky about hotel beds, but these hit that sweet spot of firm but not hard. The whole setup feels more like a serviced apartment than a traditional hotel room, which works perfectly if you're staying more than just a night or two.
Practical Comforts
You know what's refreshing? A hotel that gets the basics right without making a big deal about it. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building, the shower has proper water pressure, and — this matters more than you'd think — there's on-site parking available. In Rotterdam's city center, that's not something you can take for granted. The kitchenette means you can grab groceries from the nearby Albert Heijn and actually prepare simple meals, which honestly saves money and gives you more flexibility with your schedule.
Why Guests Love It
After staying here, I get why this place consistently gets high ratings. It's that combination of being in the absolute heart of Rotterdam while still feeling like you have your own space to retreat to. The suite setup means you're not cramped into a tiny room after a day of exploring, and the location means you can walk to dinner, walk to attractions, or just walk to people-watch in the city center. For couples especially, there's something nice about having that extra space and the option to make coffee in your room rather than hunting for a café first thing in the morning. It strikes that balance between hotel service and apartment-style independence that makes longer stays actually enjoyable.

Everything was great.
Prime location, just across the Central Train station, so no problems with late arrivals or early departures. Rooms are well equipped, of comfortable size. Staff are super helpful and also non-intrusive. Pantry at the lobby is well stocked and very convenient. The complimentary coffee machine is very attractive there.
Very helpful and cheerful staff
