The tram connections are actually pretty solid from this area, though I’d recommend getting a day pass if you’re planning to explore.

What really works about Living Room Apartments is that they’ve nailed that apartment-style setup – you get proper kitchen facilities, which is honestly a game-changer when you’re staying somewhere for more than a couple nights. I found myself picking up groceries at the local Albert Heijn (there’s one within walking distance) and actually cooking breakfast instead of hunting for overpriced hotel food. The rooms have this clean, minimalist Dutch aesthetic without being sterile, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable for a three-star place. You know what impressed me most though? Mathenesserlaan can get a bit busy during rush hours, but inside you’d hardly know it.
