Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport, you immediately get that “this makes sense” feeling. It’s one of those three-star places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not — just solid, comfortable, and honestly pretty smart about what travelers actually need. The lobby has this clean, modern Dutch vibe without being sterile, and you can tell right away that someone put thought into making this work for people who are either catching flights or exploring Rotterdam.
Location That Actually Works
Here’s the thing about staying near Rotterdam Airport — it’s not just about convenience for flights. The hotel sits in this interesting spot where you’re close enough to the airport that you can literally walk there (which is wild, honestly), but you’re also surprisingly well-connected to the city center. I mean, couples are rating the location over 8 out of 10, and that’s not just because it’s easy to find. The Overschie area has this quiet, residential feel that’s actually kind of refreshing after a day of city exploring. Plus, there’s parking right on-site, which anyone who’s tried to park in central Rotterdam will tell you is worth its weight in gold.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d hope for — clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything you need without unnecessary frills. What I appreciated most was how well-designed the space felt; there’s actual storage for your stuff, decent lighting for reading, and the bathroom is properly sized (not one of those tiny European afterthoughts). The soundproofing is solid too, which matters when you’re this close to an airport. You know what really impressed me? The attention to small details like having enough outlets near the bed and blackout curtains that actually block light.
Breakfast and Practical Touches
The breakfast buffet here is honestly better than it needs to be. Sure, you’ve got your standard European breakfast items, but there’s enough variety to keep you happy for several days, and the coffee is actually good — not that weak hotel coffee that makes you question your life choices. The restaurant area has this bright, airy feel with big windows, and the staff keeps everything well-stocked even during busy morning rushes. It’s the kind of breakfast that sets you up properly for a day of meetings or sightseeing.
Why Guests Love It
What really makes this place work is how it solves practical problems without making a big deal about it. You’re getting excellent value for money, genuine convenience for both airport access and city exploration, and service that feels personal rather than corporate. The recent guest ratings speak for themselves — when people consistently rate a place 8.0 for location and keep coming back, that tells you something real. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Rotterdam, but for travelers who want comfort, reliability, and smart positioning, Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport delivers exactly what it promises.

This plate of rotting food stood for 3 days under my door and, I think, is still there. This is very strange, because my room was cleaned, although they forgot a dirty rag in the bathroom next to my personal belongings and forgot to pour shower gel.
The breakfast was poor , the fruits were also not fresh , which did not bother the staff at all.Tamás from Hungary (7/10)
The 0-24 shop in the lobby is a good idea! Bus stop is a few meters away.
Bhardwaj from Netherlands (7/10)
Location near Airport , Hotel was able to fulfill request for extra bed within budget considering short stay.
There is a small mini-shop that is good to grab few things that you will find in grocery store considering the fact that Grocery stores are a bit far from the location.
Parking is well arranged with hotel which is otherwise much costlier in the area.
HVAC work very well.Helena from Croatia (9/10)
Very convenient if you arrive late by plane, the bus 33 that takes you to the center is in front of the hotel
