Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport, I wasn’t expecting much from a three-star place this close to Schiphol. But you know what? Sometimes these airport hotels surprise you, and this one actually did. The building itself is pretty typical Dutch modern – nothing fancy, but clean lines and that no-nonsense approach the Dutch do so well. I mean, you’re not staying here for Instagram photos, but after a long flight, that straightforward efficiency is exactly what you need.
What I really appreciated was how quiet my room was, considering we’re talking about an airport hotel here. The sound insulation is better than you’d expect – I could barely hear the planes, and trust me, I’m someone who notices every little noise when I’m trying to sleep. The rooms are comfortable enough, nothing revolutionary, but the beds are solid and the shower has decent pressure. Actually, the whole place feels more like a business hotel that happens to be near the airport rather than one of those sterile transit spots where you just crash for a few hours.
The staff here gets it – they understand you’re either coming or going somewhere else, so they’re efficient without being rushed. Check-in was smooth, and when I needed a taxi early in the morning, they had it sorted without any drama. The breakfast is typical Dutch continental fare, but honestly, the coffee was better than I expected and they had proper cheese, not just those plastic-wrapped slices you sometimes get. It’s the kind of place where everything works the way it should, which sounds boring but is actually pretty refreshing.
Here’s the thing – Rotterdam itself is only about 20 minutes away by train, so if you’re planning to explore the city, this isn’t a terrible base. The connection to Rotterdam Centraal is straightforward, and you’ll save money compared to staying right in the city center. It’s not going to be the highlight of your trip, but Fletcher Hotel Rotterdam-Airport does exactly what it promises without any surprises, good or bad. Sometimes that’s all you really want from an airport hotel.

This plate of rotting food stood for 3 days under my door and, I think, is still there. This is very strange, because my room was cleaned, although they forgot a dirty rag in the bathroom next to my personal belongings and forgot to pour shower gel.
The breakfast was poor , the fruits were also not fresh , which did not bother the staff at all.Tamás from Hungary (7/10)
The 0-24 shop in the lobby is a good idea! Bus stop is a few meters away.
Bhardwaj from Netherlands (7/10)
Location near Airport , Hotel was able to fulfill request for extra bed within budget considering short stay.
There is a small mini-shop that is good to grab few things that you will find in grocery store considering the fact that Grocery stores are a bit far from the location.
Parking is well arranged with hotel which is otherwise much costlier in the area.
HVAC work very well.Helena from Croatia (9/10)
Very convenient if you arrive late by plane, the bus 33 that takes you to the center is in front of the hotel
Marinus from Netherlands (9/10)

Excellent breakfast but a sausage would have been a great bonus
