But here’s the thing about this place – it’s basically designed for people who actually want to experience Rotterdam rather than hide from it in some generic hotel room. The whole concept revolves around these compact “hubs” (think modern Japanese capsule meets Scandinavian design), and honestly, they’ve nailed it. Each pod – and I mean this in the best way – has everything you actually need without all the stuff you don’t. The bed’s surprisingly comfortable, there’s proper storage for your gear, and the tech integration is smooth without being gimmicky. You know what really impressed me though? The communal areas. There’s this amazing rooftop bar where you’ll find yourself chatting with fellow travelers and locals alike, especially on Friday evenings when the whole Witte de Withstraat comes alive.

The location is absolutely perfect if you want to dive into Rotterdam’s art scene – you’re literally surrounded by galleries, independent shops, and some seriously good restaurants. I mean, you can walk to the Kunsthal in about fifteen minutes, and the Markthal is just a short tram ride away. The staff actually knows their stuff too, not just the usual tourist traps but proper local recommendations. One guy told me about this incredible Indonesian place around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise. Now, I’ll admit the concept isn’t for everyone – if you need a massive bathroom and room service, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you’re the type who spends most of your time exploring anyway and just wants a clean, modern base with character, CityHub gets it right. The whole place has this energy that matches Rotterdam perfectly – innovative, unpretentious, and surprisingly welcoming once you settle in.

  Everything was perfect, from the self check-in to the facilities! It is very vibey hotel in the centre of Rotterdam and near everything that's worth doing and seeing! The self-service bar was awesome and the convenience of using your wristband throughout the hotel is a very nice convenience!

  It was very clean and nice. As a single person I had 2 pillows and a good blanket which really kept the warm nicely. You can shower easily, they give you bathrobes which even some hotels dont give. The bed was comfortable and I really liked the lights that could be controlled from the app. I would definetly go there again!
  
  What could be improved: Only bad thing is the space, but for me it was not such a big deal since I don't spend a lot of time in the hotel. I only want a place to sleep, store my things and be able to clean myself and those expectations were met. For a person is perfect, for 2 persons is doable if you don't care for space.

  What could be improved: Not really a negative, but I rented a bicycle – which was fine for within-city travel, but not for long distance. Make sure you're OK with this before booking.

  Also the showers had free products from Rituals, made it feel like a spa day.

  Very beautiful and clean, the location is close to everything, never had to walk more than 20 min. Bathrooms are my favourite. Also the city hosts are insanely sweet and nice, definitely worth it.
