I mean, they’re not kidding when they say this place has an excellent location score — you’re right in the Noord district, which has become one of those areas locals actually want to hang out in. You know what I love about this spot? You can walk to the city center in about fifteen minutes, but you’re tucked away on this tree-lined street that feels genuinely residential. There’s a great little café just around the corner where I grabbed coffee every morning, and the Erasmus Bridge is close enough that you’ll probably find yourself strolling over there for sunset photos.

The Suite Experience

The room — well, suite really — is where this place truly shines. It’s spacious in a way that feels almost indulgent, especially by European standards. The design strikes this perfect balance between modern comfort and Dutch character, with these gorgeous high ceilings and windows that actually open (you’d be surprised how rare that is). I particularly loved the separate living area, which made it feel less like a hotel stay and more like I was borrowing a friend’s really nice place for the weekend.

Practical Comforts

What really impressed me were the thoughtful touches that make a longer stay actually work. The kitchenette isn’t just for show — it’s properly equipped, which means you can grab fresh ingredients from the nearby market and actually cook if you want to. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout (I worked from the living room a couple of mornings), and there’s decent parking nearby, though honestly, you won’t need a car much once you’re settled in this neighborhood.

  The location is excellent. It is very convenient for getting to the central station and most major tourist attractions. The hosts were also very friendly and responsive, which made the stay more pleasant.
  
  What could be improved: The toilet is extremely small, even for an average-sized adult (165 cm tall), it’s a tight fit. The stairs are also very steep, so I wouldn’t recommend this place for elderly guests. Additionally, there were no fans or air conditioning, which made the room uncomfortably warm.

They were stained and wrinkled, and it was hard to say if they've been washed or not. The sofa was in need of a good cleaning itself. Bathroom lacked hand soap.
