What really caught my attention was how quiet it is despite being right in the city – I mean, you’re still in Rotterdam proper, but Noord has this residential vibe that’s actually pretty refreshing.

The suites themselves are way more spacious than I anticipated (and I’ve stayed in a lot of European hotels where you can barely open your suitcase). The layout feels thoughtful – like someone actually considered how people live, not just how to cram in furniture. I particularly loved the kitchen setup because let’s be real, sometimes you just want to make coffee without paying hotel prices or grab groceries from the Albert Heijn down the street. The windows are these tall, traditional Dutch ones that let in tons of light, which is crucial during those gray Rotterdam winters. One thing I appreciated – the heating actually works well, and you can control it yourself instead of calling the front desk.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned to explore without dealing with the tourist crowds around Markthal or the harbor area. The Provenierssingel tram stop is literally a two-minute walk, so getting to Central Station or the museum district is super easy. What I found really convenient (and locals probably already know this) is that you’re walking distance to some excellent Indonesian restaurants along the main Noord corridor – way better than the overpriced spots near the Erasmus Bridge. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, that’s Rotterdam for you. The staff seemed genuinely helpful when I needed directions, not just politely dismissive like at some places. I stayed there during a particularly busy conference week in the city, and while other hotels were completely booked or charging ridiculous rates, this place maintained reasonable pricing and didn’t feel overcrowded. It’s not luxury – don’t expect marble bathrooms or room service – but for what it is, a solid 8.5 rating makes perfect sense. If you want to experience Rotterdam like someone who actually lives there rather than just hitting the typical tourist spots, this is honestly a great base.

  The location is excellent. It is very convenient for getting to the central station and most major tourist attractions. The hosts were also very friendly and responsive, which made the stay more pleasant.
  
  What could be improved: The toilet is extremely small, even for an average-sized adult (165 cm tall), it’s a tight fit. The stairs are also very steep, so I wouldn’t recommend this place for elderly guests. Additionally, there were no fans or air conditioning, which made the room uncomfortably warm.

  Great location just near the Central Station. Simple check in with key box. Flat had everything in terms of plates, cutlery, etc.
  
  What could be improved: The flat has potential but it's not very well kept. Cleanness was dubious, especially the bed sheets for the 2nd bed (the sofa in the living room). They were stained and wrinkled, and it was hard to say if they've been washed or not. The sofa was in need of a good cleaning itself. Bathroom lacked hand soap.
