Getting into the main part of the city takes maybe ten minutes on foot, and there’s something quite nice about having that little bit of separation. Couples seem to absolutely love it here (the location scores don’t lie), and I can see why — those riverside walks at sunset are pretty special.

The Room Experience

The room design follows that same bold aesthetic as the lobby, but somehow they’ve managed to make it actually comfortable for sleeping. I was skeptical about all the angular furniture and bright colors at first, but the beds are genuinely excellent — like, sink-into-them-and-forget-your-worries excellent. The windows are huge, and depending on which side you’re on, you’ll either get river views or city views. Both work, honestly. The bathrooms are sleek and modern, though if you’re tall, you might find yourself ducking slightly in the shower.

The breakfast setup here is actually quite impressive — they’ve got this whole buffet spread that covers pretty much every dietary need you can think of.
