Located on Nico Koomanskade in the Feijenoord district, it sits right across from the Maas River with views that honestly surprised me. You know what struck me first? Location & Getting Around

Here’s the thing about this spot in Rotterdam — you’re technically south of the city center, but it doesn’t feel remote at all. The Erasmus Bridge is practically next door, which means you can walk into the heart of the city in about fifteen minutes. I actually prefer this side of the river because it’s quieter at night but still connected to everything. There’s parking available right at the hotel, which is honestly a huge relief if you’re driving — finding a spot in central Rotterdam can be a nightmare.

The Room Experience

My room was exactly what you’d expect from the name — clean, functional, and surprisingly comfortable. The beds are proper quality (not those rock-hard European mattresses you sometimes get), and there’s enough space to actually unpack without feeling cramped. The business aspect shows up in thoughtful touches like good lighting for laptop work and plenty of outlets where you actually need them. The windows are well-insulated too, which matters because you’re near a busy road.

Food & Practical Matters

The “Bites” part of the name refers to their on-site restaurant, and I have to say, it’s better than most hotel dining. Nothing fancy, but the breakfast spread covers all the bases — proper Dutch cheese, fresh bread, decent coffee. For dinner, they keep it simple with international dishes that actually taste like someone cares about the cooking. The staff here seems genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions, which makes a difference when you need local recommendations or help with logistics.

Why Guests Love It

What really works about this place is how it delivers on its promise without any pretense. Couples especially seem to love the location — I can see why, given those river views and the easy access to Rotterdam’s dining scene. The hotel sits in that sweet spot where you get modern amenities and professional service without paying premium prices. It’s the kind of place where everything just works smoothly, from the Wi-Fi to the shower pressure. You’re not going to get Instagram-worthy interiors, but you’ll sleep well, eat decently, and wake up ready to explore one of Europe’s most underrated cities.

  We absolutely loved the room, location in a newer developed part of Rotterdam (Katendrecht). It was very easy accessible by car or public transportation, even with the water taxi!

  I highly recommend Bed, Bites and Business! The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Our room was spotless and very comfortable and had a GREAT view of the canal, making it a great place to relax after a long day. We did not order breakfast but the options were amazing! They create individual orders to help sustain the inviroment by not wasting food!

  Everything was great: big spacious room, very clean, the owners are great and location is just perfect. If we haven‘t booked a room here, we would have missed a great and beautiful part of Rotterdam. Drinks (sodas and water) are included in price. On the first floor and behind the hotel are a lot of great delis, small backery and around 700 meters – supermarket and a station, so you are nicely connected to the center. We would definitely book again!

  Great location close to the Cruise Terminal and Fenix Museum. Quiet room, had balcony with views over the water to the city. 40 mins walkable into the City over the Erasmus Bridge, 40 mins walkable to Cube Houses, 40 mins walkable to Feyenoord Stadium also. Funky former industrial exposed concrete vibe.
  Didn't take breakfast, parked literally next door in Q Park Fenix (it's secure but it's not cheap for over 24 hours).
