They serve a proper Dutch breakfast with local touches — fresh bread, good cheese, and coffee that doesn’t taste like it came from a machine. The conservatory becomes this bright, airy space in the morning where you can actually have a conversation without shouting over other guests. I found myself spending extra time there just because it felt so relaxed.

  We had a truly wonderful stay at B&B Berglust. Lonneke and Duco were exceptional hosts who welcomed us warmly into their beautiful home. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel right at ease from the moment we arrived.
  
  Our son was especially delighted by the chance to spend time with their lovely animals — rabbits, ducks, and chickens — which made the stay even more memorable for him. The breakfast prepared by Lonneke was so good
  
  Lonneke and Duco were incredibly helpful with suggestions on places to visit, great spots to eat, and even guided us with directions when needed. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the serene boat ride they took us on — a beautiful and unique way to explore the neighbourhood.
  
  We would absolutely love to stay with them again the next time we visit Rotterdam. Highly recommended!

  The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The area is very nice and you can travel to the Rotterdam's centre in 20 min.

  1. The neighbourhood Hillegersberg is just great, very elegant and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the lakes.
  2. The owner is truly likeable. Loved the welcome wine!
  3. The red-white cat lady from the neighbourhood is very friendly, too. She even came to my bed.
  4. The suite isn't very large, but it's cleverly arranged and therefore comfortable. Plus, the glassed patio adds a lot of space.
  5. Everything works. I mean, all aplliances function, there's electricity in all sockets, the shower won't burn or freeze you, and so on. Whoever travels a lot, knows that's not always the case.
  
  What could be improved: 1. The bathroom fan is a bit moody and one night didn't want to stop for many, many minutes. Nothing major, though.

  I wanted to share my wonderful experience during my stay in Rotterdam. I absolutely loved the room; it was clean and cozy. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall charm of my visit.

  Everything was spot on.
  The location may seem a bit out of town, but a regular tram into the city centre is just a minute's walk away, followed by a 15-minute ride to Rotterdam Centraal.
  And Lonneke was kind enough to loan me a OV chipcard, which made travel on the metro also straightforward.
  But that was typical of her and Duco. Nothing was too much trouble.
  The location is also in a nice part of town, with a supermarket less than 10 minutes away.
  
  What could be improved: Leaving, and the weather. Cold gales and heavy rain made it a home from home.
  But that is hardly the hosts' responsibility.
